There is a wide variety of grades and formulations available that have an equally wide range of properties. Most are either low density (softer/flexible) or high density (shiny/harder) and, in general, share some or all of the following characteristics: Toughness / Impact resistance / Ease of processing / Chemical resistance / Abrasion resistance / Low coefficient of friction / Near-zero moisture absorption Poly Treatment311 provides a reliable cost-effective solution for repairing or fabricating these substrates is used to make polyolefin and other low energy surfaces suitable for bonding with the CoolChem Cyanopoxy system. We recommend the Poly Treatment for difficult to bond materials like polyethylene, polypropylene, polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and thermoplastic rubber materials. * Item #: CC311 Directions for use: Poly Treatment is applied by the dispensing pen at ambient temperature. You want to wet the surface of the difficult to bond material avoiding excess. If you are bonding polyolefin material and a more active or easier to bond materials, only apply the primer to the polyolefin material and let dry before applying the Cyanopoxy system for assembly. Maximum on-part life, meaning the time you apply the Poly Treatment to the part and the time you will have for final assemble of the parts is 7 hours.
